Welcome to my “Sunshine Coast Real Estate” update for July 2021 …  summer is here and those long awaited visits with friends and family are finally happening.  Hope you all have a chance to reconnect with someone special very soon.   

Real estate activity has slowed to a slightly more seasonal pace for late spring and early summer … but don’t be fooled – a steady sellers’ market continues with active buyers snapping up homes that are perfect.   

We’ve just come through 16 consecutive months of increased sales and prices – the last 2 months we’ve seen fewer multiple offer, more offers with subjects, stress test adjusting qualifications … is this the annual ‘summer pause’ or are we moving toward a more steady market? Time will tell.   

Oh and … I got my 2nd shot today. : )
